Q. Do you board dogs/cats in your home?
A. No, we do not provide boarding services at this time.
Q. Are you insured and bonded?
A. Yes. Wagging Tails Home Pet Care is bonded by Insurers of the Carolinas and fully insured.
Q. What professional organizations do you belong to?
A. We are a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS).
Q. How many times per day will you visit my dog/cat?
A. We recommend a minimum of of 2 to 3 visits per day for dogs, and one visit per day for cats.
Q. Do you provide services on holidays?
A. Yes. We are available to provide services on all holidays.
Q. Do you provide pet transportation?
A. Yes. We can transport your pet to and from the vet's office and/or the groomer.
Q. Can you administer medications to my pet?
A. Yes, including diabetic pets who are insulin-dependent.
Q. Do you have references I can contact?
A. Yes, we are happy to provide references upon request.
Q. What towns are included in your area of service?
A. We are based in Enfield, CT and we serve most surrounding towns. We reserve the right to charge an extra fee for travel to locations in excess of 12 miles from my home.
Q. Do you care for disabled or special needs pets?
A. Yes, I have special modified carriages which your pet can be placed on so that they can enjoy the outside as if they were experiencing a walk..
Q. What is you policy regarding payments?
A. Payment in full is due when the contract is signed.
We accept cash and personal checks.
Q. Do you provide overnight pet sitting services?
A. Yes, for an additional fee. This would need to be discussed and arranged on an individual basis.
Q. Do you charge extra for additional pets?
A. Yes, we typically charge extra for three or more pets. Call us for a quote.
Q. Do you supply water and waste bags during dog walks?
A. Yes, two water bottles are provided and waste from your pet is collected and disposed of properly.
